What an awesome weekend for 11 of our guys (and girls), who competed in the 2012 Bangkok Open. After a grueling 2 day event, Kreation brought home 10 medals (1 Gold, 5 Silvers, and 4 Bronzes):
Gold - Grappling, Intermediate, Men, Rooster
Silver - BJJ, Purple, Men, Master
Silver - BJJ, Blue, Men, Light Feather
Silver - BJJ, Blue, Men, Light
Silver - BJJ, White, Men, Medium Heavy
Silver - Grappling, Novice, Women, Light
Bronze - BJJ, Purple, Men, Heavy
Bronze - BJJ, White, Men, Light Feather
Bronze - BJJ, White, Women, Heavy
Bronze - Grappling, Novice, Women, Heavy
Congrats to EVERYONE who competed. It's great experiencing such camaraderie, as we cheered one another on, through victory and through defeat. We went to compete and fought our hearts out, and brought home some medals. More important than the medals is knowing that on such a big event, Kreation was not out of place. We belong there. It's also a joy watching Scott compete for the first time in a long time. And kind of bittersweet competing alongside Dominic, as this is his last outing with us, for he's leaving Singapore for Maldives soon.
Kudos to coach Chance Wanlass.
And kSudos to team manager Nafeesa.
